The goal of this project is to solve an open-ended problem by designing and building a completely autonomous machine. We are given a racetrack, an obstacle ramp and a shooting zone. The general aim of the game is for the bot to complete a given number of laps on this racetrack, cross the obstacle and make a shot into the bucket, under fully autonomous control.
This project is a great way to apply everything that has been taught in the course. The hands-on experience of integration and testing are other key takeaways. The project also culminates into a very exciting tournament with bots competing with each other on the race track.
